Halloween Safety

Halloween Safety

Halloween - children everywhere love to celebrate this special holiday; it's fun to dress up in costumes, pretend to be a witch, werewolf, Count Dracula, Frankenstein, a pumpkin, skeleton or well-known TV character or superhero; plus there're all those wonderful treats! Yes, Halloween can and should be a special occasion for every child; however, there are important steps children and adults need to take to make sure every child does enjoy a happy and safe Halloween. In this program actual police officers take part in uniform and as character actors to help children see and learn all the safety precautions they need to take, such as costume and traffic safety, inspecting treats, and when and how to avoid strangers, to insure a safe Halloween.
