The Aikido Master

Aikido Master, The

Martial Arts for some is simply a form of exercise, a way to stay toned body wise and to keep in shape; others may practice Martial Arts for spiritual or religious reasons. Also others may study Martial Arts as a way to defend and protect themselves, which was the original purpose of this true-life drama. Here, we meet Ray, an adult with a problem. Ray lives with fears that were instilled in him by abusive parents; fears that continue to haunt him. A great change occurs in Ray's life after he attends an Aikido class. Aikido he discovers not only can help him physically and spiritually, but also will help him overcome his fears; he is so moved by its philosophy he dedicates himself to mastering this art of reconciliation and in the end we discover his life is dramatically changed. The program includes Mature Language, which has been edited out of Level 1. Produced by Ray Malinda. 03/09DE CA 30 min.
Note: An edited version, The Aikido Master - Level 1, is available.
