Women's Rights 3

Women's Rights 3

For decades, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) have been promoting Women's Rights through a series of world conferences. This program shows how NGOs have advanced the status of women throughout the world under the theme "Women's Rights are Human Rights." The program includes historical footage from the "NGO Forum on Women" in Beijing, China, which culminated in the promulgation of a 12-point Women's Rights Platform. It showcases several Women's Rights activists, including Hillary Clinton and the late Bella Abzug (1920 - 1998). It also includes excerpts from Prudence Hill's film Three Women, which profiles three Women's Rights organizers. 02/12DE JSCA 30 min.
