9. Balancing Act (Balance and Smart Eating)

09. Balancing Act (Balance and Smart Eating)

Obesity - this generation's "battle of the bulge" - is an important health topic. Here we meet two Kerrisdale kids, Amber and Jai, who decide to take on baking muffins for The Zone to bring in more customers and earn some extra cash. The success of their new venture is more than they bargained for and they have to decide what is most important, their friendship or their customers. This episode explores the importance of smart eating and a healthy lifestyle to our general well-being. In any lifestyle no matter how busy, balance is important: the balance of the right amount of exercise, eating a variety of foods, and recognizing and coping with stress and its effect on our lives. 00/08DE IJS 30 min.
