15. Two Worlds (Culturally Based Conflict Resolution)

The theme of this program is culturally-based conflict resolution. Here we meet Melissa, who is troubled by her situation at home where her parents are not getting along; also she is hurt when Kea appears not to be there for her. Kea seems to be focusing more on exploring her Chinese culture and her chance to go with the Chinese dance troop to China. Meanwhile, Todd is trying to patch things up with Amber but she has relegated him to the cool zone. The program explores the misunderstandings that may arise because of cultural differences and presents ways to resolve conflict and increase acceptance between different races. 00/08DE IJS 30 min.
