14. Quibbling Rivalry (Conflict Res and Work Safety)

Things haven't been working out for Jai recently. His hours at work have been cut, Amber's been named "Employee of the Month," and Brad publicly humiliates him by bailing him out of a heated confrontation with rowdies at The Zone. It's all too much for Jai, and he decides to quit his job. But that doesn't stop the rowdies from still looking for him, and it's up to Brad to show Jai and Amber how to handle violence in the workplace. Dealing with conflict is always difficult, but whether it is in the school or in the workplace, there are skills people can learn to defuse potentially violent situations. Meanwhile, Melissa and Kea find themselves recklessly competing at a job, and for the attention of their new boss, at a publishing company. Students who are just moving into the workforce with after-school jobs are frequently very keen to make a good impression and may ignore safety guidelines in an effort to impress their boss. After causing a near accident the girls learn something about responsibility and work safety. 00/08DE IJS 30 min.
