Matics 1: Counting to Ten
Children are introduced to Max and the Matics, along with the mettlesome Squirks, and the best place to start is learning the decimal system. Tasks such as counting to ten, as well as controlling the spirited Squirks, challenge Max and his friends to invent a new type of number machine.
Matics 2: Learning Base Ten
Base Ten is the decimal numeral system, which has ten as its base; it is the most widely used numerical base in the world. Children's learning about the decimal system continues as they see Max Matic searching for a consummate counting machine and in doing so discovers new uses for counting past ten, which leads him to unravel the concept of Base Ten. 00/10DE PI 30 min.
