Toys and Curiosities Stories

This program includes nine Toys and Curiosities Stories: Balloon: When Grandma and Terrell find a balloon, she tells him a story about a heroic hot air balloon. Teddy Bear: While on their walk, Grandma and Terrell find an old teddy bear. Grandma Ella then tells Terrell the story of a girl who learns to control her temper instead of taking it out on her teddy bear. Ball: When Terrell finds a rubber ball, Grandma Ella tells him the story of a boy who helps his little brother cope with a new baby in the house by teaching him baseball, a skill he will have to pass on to the baby when he's grown. Kite: Grandma and Terrell find a kite and she tells him the story of a boy who enters a kite flying contest and learns that winning isn't everything. Horseshoe: Terrell finds a horseshoe and his Grandma tells him a story about a horse that's scared to see the vet. When she gets her new horseshoes she feels much better. Toy Boat: Terrell finds an old toy boat and his Grandma then tells him a story of a boy who learns to share his toys with his friends. Key: When Terrell finds an old key, Grandma Ella tells him a story about a boy who finds a treasure box in his basement. He learns that not all treasure is gold. Shell: Terrell discovers a large ocean shell. Grandma explains it was a souvenir from her vacation and tells a tale of a girl who must fess up to breaking her sister's special shell. Mitten: While on their walk, Grandma and Terrell find an old mitten. Grandma Ella's story tells of a girl who lost her favorite mittens, but then gets an even better pair. 06/09DE P 27 min.
