Outside Stories

This program includes seven outside related stories: Four-Leaf Clover: Terrell is surprised when he finds a four-leaf clover. Grandma remarks on the rarity of such a thing and tells Terrell a story about a lucky skunk that finds a four-leaf clover. Animal Tracks: Terrell's next discovery is some animal tracks found in the mud. Grandma tells her grandson a story of a little girl who learns to tie her shoes and make her own tracks. Vegetable: When Terrell finds a squash in the garden, Grandma tells him the story of a girl who learns to love all kinds of vegetables. Smooth Stone: Terrell finds a smooth stone and Grandma Ella recounts the story of a little brother who shows the big kids that he's as good a stone skipper as anyone, even better! Wildflower: Terrell remarks on the pretty wildflowers and Grandma tells him a story about a girl who plants a flower garden to keep a lonely sunflower company. Toadstool: Grandma and Terrell find a toadstool while out on their walk. As it might be poisonous, they don't touch it, but Grandma tells Terrell a story about a toadstool and a toad that become friends. Puddle: When on their walk, Terrell finds a puddle and Grandma tells him a story that explores the joy of rain and sunshine and what happens when the two mix. 06/09DE P 22 min.
