1. Hygiene and Clothing
The ten life skills in this program include: "Brushing Hair/Washing Face" - Lauren just finished a delicious bowl of pudding and it's all over her face! Meedo and his friends teach Lauren all about face washing and brushing her hair. "Hand Washing" - Jonathan is starving and his lunch looks yummy, but his hands are dirty. Meedo and the gang teach Jonathan how to wash his hands. "Bath and Bubbles" - James is in the bathtub and wants to blow bubbles with his bubblegum. Meedo and the kids show him how it's done. "Brushing Your Teeth" - Lauren has just eaten a double fudge cookie and her teeth are covered in it! Meedo and the gang show her how to brush her teeth correctly. "Button, Zipper, Velcro" - Kiki is getting dressed to go out but she can't do up the buttons on her shirt. Meedo and friends get together and show Kiki how to do up buttons, zippers and velcro. "Socks, Slippers and Shoes" - Kiki wants to go outside and play but she can't do up her shoelaces! Meedo and the gang show her different ways of putting on socks, slippers and shoes. "Dressing for Rain" - It's raining, but Fatma still wants to go out and play. Meedo and the gang demonstrate what has to be worn if you want to play out in the rain. "Dressing for Heat" - It's a hot summer day and Austin wants to go out and play; so Meedo and his friends show what's best to wear in the summer heat. "Dressing for Cold" - It's snowing and Austin wants to go outside and play! Meedo and his friends show Austin the warmest way to dress for the winter. "Putting Away Clothes" - Meedo and the gang demonstrate how to put clothes away in bureaus, closets, and the dirty clothes' hamper.
2. Doing Things Indoors
The ten life skills in this program include: "Drawing" - Jaime-Lyn has a new box of crayons and a blank pad of paper. But how can she draw that picture of her mother that she promised? Meedo and his friends show her how to draw a face. "Exercise" - It's a rainy day; so Meedo shows Fatma and the gang how to do some fun exercises. "Cutting With Scissors" - Jaime-Lyn wants to cut out the Valentine that she drew for her friend. With a little instruction from Meedo and his friends we learn all about using scissors safely. "Using the Phone" - Jonathan's Mom is in the shower when the phone rings; so Meedo and the gang demonstrate various useful phone techniques for Jonathan to use. "Wrapping a Present" - Jaime-Lyn has been invited to a friend's birthday party; so Meedo and friends show her how to wrap a present. "Going Up and Down Stairs" - Terell doesn't have any problem going up the stairs, but when he gets to the top he doesn't want to come back down; so Meedo and his friends illustrate various techniques. "Eating With Utensils" - Christopher wants to eat some pancake, but doesn't know how to cut them himself; so Meedo and the gang show him how to use utensils correctly and safety. "Using Condiments" - Meedo and his friends teach Alexis how to open condiment jars and the proper way to put them on food. "Making a Sandwich" - Meedo and the gang step in and teach Jonathan how to make a delicious sandwich. "Pouring Liquids" - Christopher's thirsty; so Meedo and his pals demonstrate the best way to pour liquids into a glass.
3. Doing Things Outdoors
The ten life skills in this program include: "Balance (Hopscotch)" - James wants to play hopscotch, but he has one small problem. He can't stand on one foot! Meedo and the gang teach James all about balancing. "Ball Throw" - Alexander is dressed and ready for a baseball game so Meedo and the gang teach Alexander how to throw a ball. "Hand Signals" - Meedo and the kids teach us how to wave hello, say stop, and indicate how to come here just by using their hands! "Jumping" - Alexander wants to swing from a rope in the playground; so Meedo and the gang teach Alexander the basics of jumping. "Kicking a Ball" - Lauren wants to play soccer just like her big brother; so Meedo and his friends demonstrate the basics of kicking a ball. "Climbing a Ladder and Sliding" - Courtnie wants to go down the slide; so Meedo and friends show her how to climb a slide ladder and go down the slide. "Gardening" - Courtnie wants to grow some plants, so Meedo and his friends teach her step-by-step how to plant a seed and grow plants. "Riding a Bicycle" - James has a new bike and he's anxious to ride it. With help from Meedo and his friends he's soon cycling safely down the road. "Skipping" - Alexis wants to learn how to skip. With help from Meedo and his pals she is soon on her way, skipping around the backyard. "Pumping a Swing" - Courtnie is sitting on her swing, but she's not going anywhere; so Meedo and his friends demonstrate how to pump your legsand get that swing moving all by yourself!
4. Household Chores
The ten life skills in this program include: "Setting the Table" - Alexis is having a tea party with her stuffed animals; so Meedo and his friends teach her the proper way to set a table. "Cleaning Up After Meals" - Jonathan has just finished his yummy lunch; so Meedo and the gang show Jonathan how to clean up after meals. "Stirring (Cake Baking)" - Alexis wants to bake a cake; so Meedo and the gang demonstrate the steps that make stirring fun, easy, and, best of all, clean! "Wiping Up Spills" - Christopher knocked over his glass of juice; so Meedo and the gang demonstrate the best ways to help wipe up a spill. "Making the Bed" - Kiki's bed is a mess; so Meedo and pals demonstrate the steps to take to make your bed. "Folding" - Meedo and gang illustrate the different methods of folding clothes. "Sorting" - Meedo and the gang show Terell how to differentiate objects by color, shape and size. "Picking Up Toys" - Meedo and the gang help Terell by showing him where toys and books belong and how to tidy up. "Taking Care of Pets" - Meedo and the gang teach us all about feeding, petting and brushing our four-legged friends! "Sweep and Rake" - Lauren gets a lesson from Meedo and his friends on how to rake leaves and how to sweep up dirt. 05/08DE PI 120 min.
