Yellowstone's Otters and Friends

Yellowstone's Otters and Friends

Millions of people have visited Yellowstone National Park, but there is another region in this area where relatively few humans have traveled, the Yellowstone Lake region, which contains an immense variety of wildlife and unusual geologic features that create a truly unique habitat. This documentary takes us to this area and offers superb cinematography on land and beneath water, while using one of Yellowstone's most adorable creatures, river otters, to help guide us through this incredible wilderness that is truly like no other place in the world. Narrated by Sandy Mortimer, we follow the otters through all four seasons, and on our journey we are introduced to bison, wolves, coyotes, fox, elk, bighorn lambs, and antelope, and we view the migration of the cutthroat trout on the most important journey of their lives. Produced by Trailwood Productions. 2011 IJSCA 82 min.
