SAVE, A Friend to Homeless Animals (Animal Adoption Agency)

SAVE, A Friend to Homeless Animals is a not-for-profit shelter and animal welfare organization dedicated to protecting the health and well being of companion animals in the greater Princeton, New Jersey, area. In this program hosts Esther Mills and Ron Cohen welcome the organization's chairperson, Pauline Egan, and a volunteer, Karen Azarchi. We learn how through its six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Adoption and Humane Education, SAVE strives to substantially reduce animal overpopulation and the corresponding euthanasia of adoptable and treatable animals in their community; also how it endeavors to build, foster, and strengthen the human-animal bond. 2010 JSCA 30 min.
